Dr. Randolph Jenkins
Dr. Jenkins is the founder of Virginia Rehab Physicians. He earned his medical degree from the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His clinical interests include general inpatient rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, and stroke. He currently serves as the medical director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Petersburg, and is on staff at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richmond and Johnston-Willis Hospital.
Dr. Timothy Silver
Dr. Timothy Silver has been an icon in the Richmond area rehab community for over 20 years. After earning his medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine (now Brody SOM), Dr. Silver completed his internship at Yale University-Norwalk Hospital and residency at Medical College of Virginia (now VCU School of Medicine). Dr. Silver has served as Interim Director of Children’s Hospital Rehabilitation Unit, Chief of Service of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at McGuire Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, Medical Director of Sheltering Arms Hospital-South and Sheltering Arms Institute Neurologic Rehabilitation. He has also provided Sports Medicine services for numerous groups including VCU, VUU and many area high school teams, as well as professional Hockey, Boxing, and Kickboxing organizations. Dr. Silver has been selected and served as Athlete Physician at the 2004, 2006, and 2016 Olympics and Paralympics.
Dr. Silver specializes in all aspects of physical medicine and rehabilitation, with special interest in sports injuries, neurologic rehabilitation, and administrative consultative work.
